Business Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. The passport should be valid for at least three months beyond the intended duration of stay with two blank pages in the Schengen territory. Passports valid for more than 10 years will not be accepted as the main required travel document. It is mandatory to have two blank pages opposite to each other.
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Application form to be filled in completely and signed by the applicant.
  3. Photograph: Two recent passport-size (35-45 mm in width) photographs in color according to EU norms.
  4. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  5. Invitation Letter from a registered company/organization: Original/scanned copy invitation letter from the Irish organization on its letter-head pad stating the purpose of travel, duration of stay and other necessary details with invitee’s signature. Original invitation letter from the company in Austria sent directly from the Austrian Company to the Embassy, copy to be submitted with the application.
  6. Any Other documents related to Invitation: Electronic Statement of Guaranty by sponsor (Elektronische Verpflichtungserklärung, EVE) obtained at the Foreigners Registration Office “Fremdenpolizei” in Austria.
  7. Forwarding Letter from employer: A letter from the employer on the organization’s letter-head pad stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, his purpose and assigned roles during the visit, duration of visit, sponsorship status etc.
  8. Other Business Documents: a. Employment letter from the current organization stating the position and the tenure. b. Salary Slip for last 3 months.
  9. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 3 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable)
  10. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 3 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature
  11. Company ITR Certificate: Income Tax Return Certificate on company’s tax returns for a period of last 3 years (Recommended) (Last 3 years)
  12. Travel Health Insurance: travel health insurance/medical insurance covering the full time of an applicant’s intended visit. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the visiting state/s. The minimum cover shall be EUR 30,000. Overseas medical insurance valid for all Schengen-countries with a minimum coverage of 30,000 EURO. The insurance has to cover all risk e.g. accident, illness, etc. Insurance policies have to be submitted with an English or German translation. The policy has to clearly specify the period of validity and has to cover the date of arrival & departure has to be submitted in original along with a photocopy.
  13. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
  14. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
