Student Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
    • contains a photograph of the owner
    • has at least two blank pages intended for visas
    • is valid for at least 90 days after the expected departure date from the Republic of Belarus
    • is not dubious in terms of authenticity or ownership
    • contains no torn pages, marks, entries, erasures and corrections that are not certified by the issuing authorities of the respective foreign state
    • ATTENTION — if the applicant is under 18 years old – a COPY of full Birth Certificate (contains information about parents) and copies of passports of the applicant’s parents (legal representatives)
    • if the applicant previously had USSR or Belarusian citizenship – a document certifying the loss of the USSR or Belarusian citizenship must be submitted to the Embassy
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below.1. one copy of a duly completed visa application form. Visa application form must be signed by the foreign citizen personally.

    • the visa application form for a minor should be signed by their legal representative
  3. Photograph: One photograph (size 35×45 mm, full face, against an even light background, high resolution, no corrugation or ink allowed, 70 — 80 percent of the picture placed vertically, 6 months-older photos not accepted).
  4. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  5. Invitation Letter from a registered company/organization: Original/scanned copy invitation letter from the Irish organization on its letter-head pad stating the purpose of travel, duration of stay and other necessary details with invitee’s signature. An original invitation of the Belarusian educational institution, approved by the Citizenship and Migration Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for the period, specified in the invitation, or appropriate confirmation from the Citizenship and Migration Department, sent directly to the Embassy/Consulate

  7. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 3 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable)
  8. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature. (If any)
  9. Evidence of fixed assets: An authenticated evaluation document of applicant’s fixed asset/notarized summary of wealth statements (Recommended)
  10. Travel Health Insurance: travel health insurance/medical insurance covering the full time of an applicant’s intended visit. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the visiting state/s. The minimum cover shall be EUR 30,000.should contain the following information:
    • the name and address of the foreign insurance company (bank), it`s phone number
    • the name of the foreign citizen covered by the insurance
    • the territorial validity should include the Republic of Belarus (Should be written Belarus, Europe incl. Belarus or Worldwide);
    • it should be valid for the period of your staying in the Republic of Belarus;
    • the minimum limit of responsibility of the medical insurance is 10 000 Euro.
    • Please provide only the copies of pages of your health insurance, containing the above mentioned information (usually a copy of a health insurance certificate is enough ). There is no need to send the entire booklet and agreement of your insurance. You must have the original of your medical insurance policy during your staying in Belarus.The electronic insurance from Belarusian companies are also accepted by the Embassy: beg.by/en/online-insurance/ (Eximgarant of Belarus), bgs.by/insurance/17/18/159/ (Belgosstrah).
  11. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip. (Confirmed)
  12. Academic Certificates and Transcripts: Authenticated original academic certificates and transcripts issued from the previously attended academic institutions
  13. Enrollment Letter: Original and copy of the Letter of Offer/Letter of Enrollment from an overseas academic institution confirming the student’s admission into a specific study programmed
  14. Payment Receipt of Tuition Fees: Copy of the receipt acquired as a proof of advance tuition fee payment to the academic institution
  15. Accommodation Confirmation: A confirmation of accommodation into a dormitory/student hostel or private tenancy for a specific period.
