Tourist Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.
    • contains a photograph of the owner
    • has at least two blank pages intended for visas
    • is valid for at least 90 days after the expected departure date from the Republic of Belarus
    • is not dubious in terms of authenticity or ownership
    • contains no torn pages, marks, entries, erasures and corrections that are not certified by the issuing authorities of the respective foreign state
    • ATTENTION — if the applicant is under 18 years old – a COPY of full Birth Certificate (contains information about parents) and copies of passports of the applicant’s parents (legal representatives)
    • if the applicant previously had USSR or Belarusian citizenship – a document certifying the loss of the USSR or Belarusian citizenship must be submitted to the Embassy
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below.1. one copy of a duly completed visa application form. Visa application form must be signed by the foreign citizen personally.

    • the application form should be signed by the applicant personally; failure to observe this requirement may result in refusal of the application
    • the visa application form for a minor should be signed by their legal representative
  3. Photograph: One photograph (size 35×45 mm, full face, against an even light background, high resolution, no corrugation or ink allowed, 70 — 80 percent of the picture placed vertically, 6 months-older photos not accepted).
  4. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  5. Invitation Letter from a physical person: Original/scanned copy invitation letter from the Irish host stating the nature of mutual relationship, the purpose of travel, duration of stay, address and other necessary details with invitee’s signature.
  6. Invitation Letter from Tour Operator/Trip Itinerary: A Letter of Guarantee/Confirmed Invitation from a licensed tour operator or travel agency outlining your day to day trip plan, details of the arrangements made and the undertaking on your repatriation.
  7. Invitee’s photo ID Card Copy: A clear scanned copy of photo ID of your invitee/host in the visiting country. (Preferably attested by a legal authenticator)
  8. Invitee’s Tenancy Agreement/Utility Bill copy: A scanned copy of tenancy agreement/utility bill of the invitee’s residence if your address during your stay is expected to be the same
  9. Other Business Documents: Pay slip from work place
  10. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable) Personal bank account statement for the period not less than 3 month prior to the date of visa submission.
  11. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature
  12. Travel Health Insurance: travel health insurance/medical insurance covering the full time of an applicant’s intended visit. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the visiting state/s. The minimum cover shall be EUR 30,000.should contain the following information:
    • the name and address of the foreign insurance company (bank), it`s phone number
    • the name of the foreign citizen covered by the insurance
    • the territorial validity should include the Republic of Belarus (Should be written Belarus, Europe incl. Belarus or Worldwide);
    • it should be valid for the period of your staying in the Republic of Belarus;
    • the minimum limit of responsibility of the medical insurance is 10 000 Euro.
    • Please provide only the copies of pages of your health insurance, containing the above mentioned information (usually a copy of a health insurance certificate is enough ). There is no need to send the entire booklet and agreement of your insurance. You must have the original of your medical insurance policy during your staying in Belarus.The electronic insurance from Belarusian companies are also accepted by the Embassy: beg.by/en/online-insurance/ (Eximgarant of Belarus), bgs.by/insurance/17/18/159/ (Belgosstrah).
  13. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip. (Confirmed)
  14. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.Hotel booking confirmation on the letterhead of hotel in Belarus.Please pay attention that accommodation booking confirmation must be send to you directly from the hotel on the letterhead by email or fax. Visa section does not accept information from websites like “booking.com” etc.
    If you are renting private APARTMENTS, you have to provide scanned copies which the Landlord should send you by e-mail: booking confirmation; proof that the lessor is the owner of the apartments; certificate of the registration of a private unitary enterprise.
