Tourist Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp.1. National passport with validity of at least 3 months after the end of the planned journey 2. Copy of the identity page of your passport and copy of the most recent Schengen visa with stamps
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant.   3. Photograph: 1 recent color photograph (5x3cm) with white background glued on the application form.
  4. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  5. Invitation Letter from Tour Operator/Trip Itinerary: A Letter of Guarantee/Confirmed Invitation from a licensed tour operator or travel agency outlining your day to day trip plan, details of the arrangements made and the undertaking on your repatriation. Full detailed itinerary.
  6. NOC/LOI: A letter from your employer on the organization’s letter-head pad, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job as per schedule. Letter of employer, stating your income and your vacation days allowed or – Copy of inscription in the commerce register or as a partner in a company or – Certificate from school stating your vacation days allowed (in case student)

  8. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable)
  9. Evidence of Other Bank deposits: Copy of other financial documents such as deposit schemes, FDR, Retirement funds, Loan accounts etc.
  10. Personal TIN Certificate: Copy of TIN/e-TIN certificate in the name of the applicant. The certificate must be translated into English, if it is issued in any other language
  11. Personal ITR Certificate: Income Tax Return Certificate for a period of last 3 years (Recommended) (Last 3 years)
  12. Evidence of fixed assets: An authenticated evaluation document of applicant’s fixed asset/notarized summary of wealth statements (Recommended)
  13. Salary Slip: 3 last salary slips
  14. Travel Health Insurance: travel health insurance/medical insurance covering the full time of an applicant’s intended visit. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the visiting state/s. The minimum cover shall be EUR 30,000. Copy of travel insurance valid in Belgium (and other Schengen countries), coverage minimum 30.000

  15. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
  16. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
  17. Other Supporting Documents: In case of a minor who has not reached the age of 18 years AND is travelling with one of the parents
    only or alone: a notary affidavit mentioning the consent of the parents must be submitted. This
    document needs to be apostilled.
  18. Remarks:
    1. Submission of your old passport with previous trips can be useful for decision (maximum of 2
    passports in total).
    2. Additional documents, even if not featured in the list above, may be required by the Embassy.
    3. You should submit your application minimum 1 month before the foreseen travel date.
    4. You can submit your application at the earliest three months before your planned visit.
    5. The visa fee is non-refundable if the visa is denied.
    6. A later change to the purpose of the visit is not admissible. A prolongation of the visa is not possible.
