Family Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp. Original passport must not be older than 10 years; also, 1 photocopy of the first page of the passport. It is mandatory to have two blank pages opposite to each other. Passports with observations regarding the front data page cannot be accepted.
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. One application form with ALL COLUMNS filled in and signed by the applicant.
  3. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, The respective visa office and signed (And the itinerary for the corresponding period in brief)
  4. Proof of Status in India. Certificate, form 16A, Estate, share certificates, deposits, investments.
  5. Invitation Letter from a physical person: Original/scanned copy invitation letter from the Irish host stating the nature of mutual relationship, the purpose of travel, duration of stay, address and other necessary details with invitee’s signature.
  6. Invitee’s photo ID Card Copy: A clear scanned copy of photo ID of your invitee/host in the visiting country. (Preferably attested by an legal authenticator)
  7. Invitee Business Registration Document: Scanned copy of a company registration certificate/Certificate of Incorporation/Trade License from your inviting company/organization
  8. Invitee’s Tenancy Agreement/Utility Bill copy: A scanned copy of tenancy agreement/utility bill of the invitee’s residence if your address during your stay is expected to be the same
  9. Any Other documents related to Invitation.
  • In the case of a family visit, a legalized Sponsorship Letter, addressed to the Embassy, is required of the Host.
  • Proof of sufficient financial means and of strong social and economic bonds with the country of origin in the form of property papers, proof of employment/ business/ study etc. is required as support documents.
  1. NOC/LOI: A letter from your employer on the organization’s letter-head pad, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job as per schedule
  2. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable). Personal Bank statement of last 3 months.
  3. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer Company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature. (If Sponsored)
  4. Evidence of Other Bank deposits: Copy of other financial documents such as deposit schemes, FDR, Retirement funds, Loan accounts etc.
  5. Personal ITR Certificate: Income Tax Return Certificate for a period of last 3 years (Recommended) (Last 3 years)
  6. Evidence of fixed assets: An authenticated evaluation document of applicant’s fixed asset/notarized summary of wealth statements (Recommended)
  7. Salary Slip: Salary slips for the recent 3 months.
  8. Travel Health Insurance: travel health insurance/medical insurance covering the full time of an applicant’s intended visit. The insurance must be valid throughout the territory of the visiting state/s. The minimum cover shall be EUR 30,000. Copy of OVERSEAS medical insurance policy, including medical emergency evacuation cover (equivalent to 30,000 Euros) corresponding with the (desired) period of stay.
  9. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip. Copy of confirmed AIRLINE reservation or PNR.
  10. other Supporting Documents :
  • All travel agents and representatives need to carry a letter of authority from the applicants for the submission of applications. The applications without the authority letter from Applicants will not be accepted.
  • In case of primary visit, business correspondence with the concerned Dutch company is required, in which case a simple fax or email does not constitute correspondence.
  • Frequent travelers can apply for a longer validity visa with an overseas medical insurance policy for that period. The passport must be valid accordingly.
  • Each application must be supported by a copy of all the requisite documents.
  • All faxes must be photocopied and in A4 size paper.

Notes:

If the visit is SPONSORED by a referee in The Netherlands, supporting documents required are:

  1. Proof of sufficient financial means and of strong social and economic bonds with the country of origin in the form of property papers, proof of employment/ business/ study etc. is required as support documents.
  2. All travel agents and representatives need to carry a letter of authority from the applicants for the submission of applications. The applications without the authority letter from Applicants will not be accepted.
  • Invitation legalized from the Town Hall.
  • Passport copy.
  • Resident permit copy (in case of referee being a non-Dutch national).
  • Financial proof of the referee i.e. salary slips, bank statements.
  1. In the absence of a referee or a sponsor, the applicant must submit:
  • Bank statement or salary slips for the recent 3 months.
  • A confirmed hotel reservation corresponding with the (desired) period of stay.
