Business Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamp (photocopy of the first, second and last pages).
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below
  3. Photograph: Two recent passport-size photographs.
  4. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  5. Invitation Letter: Original Letter of invitation from Host Company, in Nigeria, accepting full immigration and financial responsibility as well as stating purpose of visit (and duration of stay).
  6. Invitee’s photo ID Card Copy: Identity proof of the Authorizing Signatory who signs the invitation. The authorizing signatory, if Nigerian has to provide his/her passport copy else if Foreign National, then along with the passport copy he/she is also required to provide his/her Work/Residence Permit copy.
  7. Invitee Business Registration Document: A copy of Incorporation Certificate of the Nigerian Company is to be faxed directly to the Embassy and another copy is to be submitted along with the visa documents.
  8. Forwarding Letter from employer: An original Covering Letter from the Indian Company recommending travel and detailing the purpose of trip. The letter should include a personal request from the Applicant as well. Letter should be addressed to the Visa Officer, Nigerian High Commission, New Delhi.
  9. Salary Slip for last 6 months
  10. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable)
  11. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature
  12. Endorsement: Proof of funds, in the form of foreign exchange (minimum USD 500) endorsement on the passport (along with its photocopy).
  13. Airline Ticket Itinerary: Confirmed return air ticket (along with a photocopy)
  14. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
  15. Other Supporting Documents: Nigeria Immigration Service Visa Payment Receipt and Visa Acknowledgement Receipt.

For Payment Outside of Nigeria:

If you select a processing country other than Nigeria, your payment will be in US Dollars. You will be re-directed to an approved payment platform to complete your application and make your payment in US Dollars.

Please take your visa payment receipts, passport and other documents to the Nigerian Embassy in your Country of abode on your slated interview date for your Visa.
