Business Visa Requirements:

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Passport must be valid for the duration of visa applied (for long term visits) or at least six months (for short visits) on date of application.
  2. Visa Application Form: Four copy visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below
  3. Photograph: Four passport-size photographs.
  4. A personal identity card: Copy of the PAN Card/Driving License /Voter ID (any one) along with English translation clearly indicating the address.
  5. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  6. Invitation Letter from a registered company/organization: Letter of invitation from registered Pakistani company/firm clearly indicating the city/ies to be visited and the duration for the visit.
  7. Any Other documents related to Invitation: Copy of letter of credit/correspondence with the registered company/firm in Pakistan.
  8. Forwarding Letter from employer: A letter from the employer on the organization’s letter-head pad stating applicant’s name, designation, passport number, his purpose and assigned roles during the visit, duration of visit, sponsorship status etc.
  9. Other Business Documents:
  • Copy of the membership certificate of any chamber of commerce in India.
  • A Recommendation letter from Indian Chamber of Commerce in original.
  1. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 1 (ONE) year mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable).
  2. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature
  3. Company ITR Certificate: Copy of the Income tax return/audited accounts for the last two years to establish the income criteria in the following categories:
  • Gross sale/turnover of the business should be more than Rs. 50 lacs (Rs.5 million) and income/ individual Salary of the applicant must be more than Pak. Rs.5 lacs per annum.
  • Gross sale/turnover of the business should be more than Rs.3 crores (Rs.30 million) and income/salary above Rs.50 lacs (5 million) per annum.
  1. Polio Certificate: A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is required. The dose of OPV should be taken at least four weeks prior to the departure from India.
  2. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
  3. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
  4. Other Supporting Documents: In case of participation in or visiting a trade/business exhibition/fair in Pakistan, details of the nature of participation and a copy of the invitation from the exhibition/ fair authorities or Federation/ Chambers concerned.

Conference Visa Requirements:

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Passport must be valid for the duration of visa applied (for long term visits) or at least six months (for short visits) on date of application.
  2. Visa Application Form: Four copy visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below
  3. Photograph: Four passport-size photographs.
  4. A personal identity card: Copy of the PAN Card/Voter ID/ Driving License along with English translation. (Identity Proof).
  5. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  6. Invitation Letter from a registered company/organization: Letter of invitation from the organizers of the event in Pakistan clearly mentioning the event with duration their sponsors, partners and associates.
  7. NOC/LOI: A letter from your employer on the organization’s letter-head pad, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job as per schedule.
  8. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 1 (ONE) year mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable).
  9. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature.
  10. Company ITR Certificate: Income Tax Return Certificate on company’s tax returns for a period of last 3 years (Recommended) (Last 3 years)
  11. Polio Certificate: A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is required. The dose of OPV should be taken at least four weeks prior to the departure from India.
  12. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
  13. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
  14. Other Supporting Documents: In case of a paper to be presented, extracts of the paper/presentation may be attached.

Journalist Visa Requirements:

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Passport must be valid for the duration of visa applied (for long term visits) or at least six months (for short visits) on date of application.
  2. Visa Application Form: Four copy visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below
  3. Photograph: Four passport-size photographs.

  5. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  6. Invitation Letter from a registered company/organization: Letter of invitation from host/organizers in Pakistan along with itinerary.
  7. Any Other documents related to Invitation: Copy of Card/membership of respective Press Club.
  8. Forwarding Letter from employer: Letter from Editor in Chief of sending media house.
  9. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 1 (ONE) year mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable).
  10. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature.

Tourist Visa Requirements:

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Passport must be valid for the duration of visa applied (for long term visits) or at least six months (for short visits) on date of application.
  2. Visa Application Form: Four copy visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below
  3. Photograph: Four passport-size photographs.
  4. A personal identity card: Copy of the PAN Card/Voter ID/ Driving License along with English translation. (Identity Proof).
  5. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Officer, the respective visa office and signed.
  6. Electricity bill/gas bill: Copy of the electricity bill/gas bill/ landline telephone bill (any one: as address proof) clearly indicating the applicant’s address.
  7. NOC/LOI:
  • For employees in the private sector- A letter from the Organization giving the details of designation, duration of service and address of the applicant.
  • Government Order (GO): For employees working in the Government- A permission/NOC from the Head of the Department or copy of the clearance received from the competent authority.
  • Copy of Incorporation Certificate: For self-employed- A copy of the registration of the business establishment by the Government of India/State with English translation.
  1. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 1 (ONE) year mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable).
  2. Polio Certificate: A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is required. The dose of OPV should be taken at least four weeks prior to the departure from India.
  3. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.

  • Copy of “Form R-I”, in case of Indian Nationals who acquired Pakistan citizenship after 1951.

Family Visit Visa Requirements:

  6. Invitee’s Tenancy Agreement/Utility Bill copy: A scanned copy of tenancy agreement/utility bill of the invitee’s residence if your address during your stay is expected to be the same.
  7. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Statements (Personal/Payroll) for last 1 (ONE) year mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature (e-statement is not acceptable).
  8. Sponsor’s Bank Statements: Original/scanned copy of bank statements from the sponsoring party (invitee/Employer company/any other person) for last 6 months mentioning the Bank’s name, telephone number clearly with authorized bank stamp and signature.
  9. Evidence of Other Bank deposits: Copy of other financial documents such as deposit schemes, FDR, Retirement funds, Loan accounts etc.
  10. Polio Certificate: A valid Polio (OPV) Certificate is required. The dose of OPV should be taken at least four weeks prior to the departure from India.
  11. Airline Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
  12. Accommodation Confirmation: A confirmation of accommodation into a dormitory/student hostel or private tenancy for a specific period.
  13. Enrollment Letter: Letter of Admission of the educational institution concerned in Pakistan.
  14. Sponsorship Letter: Sponsorship Letter or evidence of adequate financial standing to support the academic/living expenses in Pakistan during the course of study (bank statement).
  15. Other Supporting Documents: In case of student exchange, copy of MOU and letter from Heads of two institutions giving details of the program along with undertaking to fund it.
