Tourist Visa Requirement

  1. Relevant Pages of Passport: Original Passport with validity of minimum six months after the intended date of departure and minimum two blank pages for visa stamps.
  2. Visa Application Form: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant. Please find the visa application form below: The visa application must be filled with proper information and signed by the applicant.
  3. Photograph: Two color photographs of the applicant as per the specification. 3.5 x 4.5 cm. not older than 3 months with white background, face and eyes are in direct position to the camera, without sunglasses or hat or any other head covering, except for some religious beliefs or ethnic background.
  4. Photo ID Card/ Business Card: A personal identity card of the applicant such as National ID/Adhar Card/Driving License and business card (Recommended)
  5. Cover Letter: A personal letter from applicant including personal details, purpose of visit and outlining who will be responsible for the full costs of the trip. The letter should be addressed to – The Visa Office and signed by the applicant. A cover letter from both company and travel agency stating all names with passport numbers, plan of travel and place(s) to stay, and company’s bank statement attested by the banks, company’s business registration.
  6. Invitation Letter from a physical person: Original/scanned copy invitation letter from the Irish host stating the nature of mutual relationship, the purpose of travel, duration of stay, address and other necessary details with invitee’s signature. If intend to stay with Thai relatives or Thai friends, must provide invitation letter
    along with a copy of their Thai ID proof
  7. Invitation Letter from Tour Operator/Trip Itinerary: A Letter of Guarantee/Confirmed Invitation from a licensed tour operator or travel agency outlining your day to day trip plan, details of the arrangements made and the undertaking on your repatriation. Evidence of confirmed hotel/accommodation reservation in Thailand with address and contact number under applicant’s name. If travel in group, must provide a cover letter stating all names with passport numbers, plan of travel, and place(s) to stay **Itinerary or plan of other trips to Thailand.
  8. Invitee’s photo ID Card Copy: A clear scanned copy of photo ID of your invitee/host in the vising country. (Preferably attested by a legal authenticator)
  9. Invitee’s Tenancy Agreement/Utility Bill copy: A scanned copy of tenancy agreement/utility bill of the invitee’s residence if your address during your stay is expected to be the same
  10. Any Other documents related to Invitation: In case of group of travelers guaranteed by private travel agent or sponsored by public/private corporate. However, the agent/corporate must issue a guarantee/sponsor letter which is signed by authorized person and attached with the list of group members citing details (name and passport details of each individual, confirmed return flight information and hotel reservation of the group.
  11. NOC/LOI: A letter from your employer on the organization’s letter-head pad, with contact details, stating that a leave of absence has been granted, purpose and duration of the trip, and that you will be returning to your current job as per schedule from employer.

For employees: Letter from employer certifying employment and granting leave for tourism in Thailand, and copy of company ID.

For students: Letter from school/university certifying student status, and copy of student ID.

For business proprietors: Certificate of Incorporation, and Memorandum of Association (MoA)

  1. Personal Bank Statements: Original Bank Passbook or Bank statement (six months) (must be attested by the bank) having a minimum balance equivalent to $700 .
  2. Personal ITR Certificate: Income Tax Return Certificate for a period of last 3 years (Recommended): Income Tax Return Certificate for a period of last 3 years (Recommended) (Last 3 years). Copy of PAN card and Indian income tax return of the latest assessment year.
  3. Ticket Itinerary: A reserved itinerary for your airline ticket as per the schedule of the trip.
  4. Hotel Reservation: A reserved itinerary for your accommodation at a hotel or resort as per the schedule of the trip.
